Awass Shibir & Free Kitchen organised at Rayagada Dist. due to water sinking

Rayagada District correspondent (Amulya Nisanka), “Awass Shibir” was organised at Chandrapur Block Headquarters of Rayagada District.

The Programme was attended by Sj Lalbihari Himirika, Hon’ble MLA & Chairman, District Planning Committee, Mrs. Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, IAS, Collector, Sri Sukanta Tripathy, OAS(S), PD, DRDA, Sri Amrit Ruturaj, IAS, Sub-Collector Gunupur, Sri Gorachand Gamango, PA, ITDA, Gonupur, Mr. George Dungdung, BDO and PRI members of the block. Incentives to 39 persons under PMAY, work orders to 152 persons for const. of new house under PMAY, work orders to 163 persons for 95 mandays and work order for IHHL construction were distributed in the Camp. Besides, health camp was organised at CHC Campus and 200 nos of people availed health check up.
Free kitchen started at jagannathpur village of Rayagada block due water sinking in presence of Sri Prabeer Nayak, OAS, Sub Collector and Sri.UmaShankar Behera, OAS, Tahsildar, Rayagada
28 families(49male, 60 females, 14 children) affected from Jagannathpur village and staying at Jagannathpur Pry School, Rayagada Block. Free kitchen started, electrification arranged in presence of Sarapanch.
Kolanara Tahasildar Miss Manashi Naik, OAS & BDO Sri K Siva Gopal visited to Hatikhamba,karubai,Mukundpur villages. Some houses are partially damaged, Polythene has been distributed among the affected families.
BDO K.Singpur, Sri Anup Panda, OAS, Field Report ::– Field visit to Serigumma gp with abdo.2 households partially damaged at tumbitarai village and rain water had entered in 4 kitchen started for 8 houses at tumbitarai school nearby for 40 people. Besides rice @5kg each and potatoes and dal@ 1kg each have been provided to 3 families of talaanchalbadi,parlapai and podichuan villages. Dry food comprising of biscuits and snacks have been distributed to all affected.3 families residing in unsafe houses have been shifted to nearby awc at talaanchalbadi village till Monday.
All villagers have been sensitized individually regarding shifting to nearby awc/schools in case rain persists for a longer duration.
Due to heavy Rains, 05 no.s houses damaged. At Padmapur tahasil, Naira village, Polythenes distributed by Tahasildar Sri T P. Dora,OAS.
