INTERNATIONAL DAY OF YOGA – 2018 CELEBRATED AT RAYAGADA
Rayagada (D.C-Amulya Nisanka): International day of Yoga was celebrated in a grand way on 21st June 2018 at 4 Bn, CRPF Headquarters, Rayagada (Odisha).
To mark the occasion 4th Battalion CRPF celebrated International day of Yoga as per Common Yoga protocol provided by Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. All officers and jawans of the 4th Battalion CRPF, prominent civil authorities like Chief Guest Mrs. Guha Poonam Tapas Kumar, IAS (District Collector Rayagada), Special Guest Shri. Debarchan Behera, OFS-I, Divisional Forest Officer of District Rayagada and Shri Prabeer Nayak, OAS(I) (Sub Collector Rayagada) had actively participated on this occasion. It also boosted the morale of the Force personnel.
Smt. Mitu Roy, (Second-In-Command) with other Officers of 04 Bn, CRPF delivered a valuable speech about the importance of the Yoga day and its practical benefits to our health on daily routine life and also thinking as well as its impact upon entire environment.
During the occasion, an Essay writing competition for children of local school in the Rayagada was also organized and prizes were distributed to them. In the evening a cultural programme was also carried out at the campus.
