West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also congratulated Sindhu on this achievement. Keep winning Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganreddy on Sunday congratulated PV Sindhu on her historic win at the World Badminton Championships. Please tell that this is Sindhu’s fifth medal in the World Championship. In terms of the number of medals, Sindhu equaled the record of former Olympic champion Zhang Ning of China. Sindhu has also won two silver medals in the last two seasons of the tournament along with two bronze medals.
